How Mesopotamia Received it's Power

Mesopotamia made many things that helped there people in life. The Mesopotamians made the wheel which helped them transport things delivered faster. One thing that helped them stay alive irrigation systems provided more food for the Mesopotamians.Irrigation systems helped by not letting most people die of hanger. Those were two things that the Mesopotians achieved in life. Those two items helped Mesopotamia survive in their dry land.

My favorite item was agriculture for bringing so much power towards Mesopotamia. One of the things agriculture brought to Mesopotamia were irrigation systems.Irrigation systems provided Mesopotamia with crops.Agriculture also helped improve Mesopotamia with its plant's and trees.Part of agriculture was that Mesopotamia built canals to transport water to their land. When Mesopotamias received water they didin't just use it to feed their plant's they used it to keep themselves hydrated. So agriculture was one of the achievments that mostly helped Mesopotamia survive.Agriculture helped Mesopotamia stay alive.

The Story of Gilgamesh

PARAGRAPH 1,The story of Gilgamesh takes place in Uruk,Mesopotamia were the palace of Gilgamesh is placed. The story involves Enkidu,Gilgamesh, and Humbaba. In the beginning,Gilgamesh and Enkidu were tired of everyday life in Uruk,Mesopotamia. So the two fierced worriors decided to go off on an adventure to exciment. Gilgamesh and Enkidu decided to go get some wood for their people. And to go face the great demon Humbaba. Then, when Gilgamesh and Enkidu are walking through the forest they see the great Humbaba.Humbaba told Enkidu and Gilgamesh to leave immediately. But the two worriors decided to stay and fight. In the end,Enkidu and Gilgamesh vanquished the demon Humbaba. And left with the wood to the city Uruk. When the two woreiors returned they had a celebration ready to tell great stories about their adventures.

PARAGRAGH 2,The message of the story is to be brave.I choose this because Gilgamesh and Enkidu went to go get wood even though there was a demon they still went and tried. Also,in they storydefeat Humbaba. And the two worriors got the wood and returning with a celebration.Another reason is because the forest was realy far but they still it kept walking usualy it takes 6 months but this trip only took them 15 days because they were brave and kept moving on.

PARAGRAPH 3,I believe Gilgamesh is a hero because he could defeat a demon which was fascinating. Also he took Humbaba's head along with the wood .In addition,he could sommon the great winds to defeat Humbaba.Finaly,he could keep walking on his journy to the forest which was realy far and chalenging. In my opinion,Gilgamesh is a hero.

Mesopotamia

Hi my name is kevinlopez I live in Mesopotamia it is a nice place to live in on ocasion. There can be a few problems like flash floods or drouts eather ways we can handle it.I remember the day when there was a problem with the rivers there were some difficulties but we had to do something fast!So my people built something called levees which holded our water from causing flash flood. The levees were realy helpful and our king loved the idea so he rewarded our people with a feist! That was one of my favorite days because I got a free meal and left with full stumich our king is Sargon the great. If only I could go back those were the days.
